I'll stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Former twice world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As both boxers met for the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really going ahead.
